Barone was a cast member on Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone was Carol Willick Ross Geller in her debut Friends episode. She also played an ex-wife to Carol Willick Ross Geller. Jane Sibbett replaced her after she left to pursue an full-time position.
